Cindy LeeCMTMassage Therapist
Cindy Lee, LMT has a passion for helping people through the healing art of massage therapy. Cindy attended St. Paul Community College and earned a degree in applied science with an emphasis in clinical sports massage. She has refined the techniques that she performs which include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cupping, Swedish massage, sports massage and deep tissue massage. With the use of these techniques she is able to treat each person independently and specifically according to their needs.
Trigger point therapy is performed at the source of pain to help break up muscle spasms by relieving not only localized pain but also referred pains. Myofascial release is a gentle technique used by sustaining pressure to the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore function. Cupping is a beneficial therapy used to loosen muscles, encourage blood flow and to relieve muscle tension in the fascia. Swedish massage technique uses longer strokes using light to firm pressure for clients who are looking for a gentler approach for relaxation and tension release. Sports therapy and deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage except the therapist will target deeper tissues using more pressure and is used for clients suffering from muscular injuries.
Cindy's hobbies include hiking, reading, playing sports, and exploring.
